Sunny Day

 I knew Winter couldn't last forever and today was proof. 

Not that we've had a bad Winter. I like Winter, actually. Especially snow. But I do miss the sun. I try and tell myself that it's good to have time to hunker down and rest. We see that in all of creation, actually. I think that's true and good. But every year, as February winds down, I find myself yearning for sun. Maybe it's primal, instinctual. Then it starts to feel like it will be gray, cold, and windy forever. Just as I begin to feel that way, we have a warm day or two. Today was one of those days.
