Snow Day!

Actually, there would be several snow days. This is what's known as Snowmageddon. We were told we could get anywhere from 3 to 20 inches.

It started as sleet. It rained sleet for hours upon hours. Coating everything. That alone was pretty unique. I've never seen it sleet like that for so long. Especially when the temps are cold enough that it won't be melting right away. Then the snow started coming down. 6 inches is what we got here. Some got around 8.

Getting out is impossible and everything is shut down. We're prepared so no problem here. We'll make the most of it!

Sledding aftermath. Hahahah. She loved every minute.

It was perfect weather for sledding. We helped chip away ice from the cars and driveway and then took a sledding break. After that we were exhausted and went inside to rest, drink hot cocoa, and get warm again.
