Luke's 19th Birthday

 This was a memorable birthday for sure!

We've been needing rain desperately so we weren't sad to hear a storm was moving through. The storm decided it needed to make up for lost time because it really showed up.

On top of a torrential downpour, we also had hail and intense winds. Gabe and I watched as the wind picked up the hammock and a deck chair and pitched them wildly off the side.

Family were on their way over to celebrate Luke's birthday and were caught in the storm. Everyone arrived safely...right after the power went out.

We fired up the generator and proceeded with our evening. We played some board games and had ice cream. 

 In all of the hubbub I never did get a great picture of Luke. I need to remedy that soon!
