Garden Surprises

 I love good surprises in the garden! 

When I purchased some archangels I wasn't sure they'd survive. They were some end-of-season plants that were on sale. I picked them up on a whim hoping they'd take off and fill in some bare spots in my front planter. I'm so happy to see that they survived the winter, the recent cold snap, and are thriving!

The other surprise is also yellow. Apparently, yellow buttercup is a weed, but I don't care! It's so pretty. And low maintenance is always a bonus.
