First Signs of Spring

Just a few days after snow and we have sunshine and a few promises of spring. I know better than to think this type of weather will be a constant, but I'm happy to take what I can get!

First, I was surprised by an egg! I was for sure Ms. Sassy was done. She's almost 5 years old now! Or is it 6?! Anyway, I was thrilled to see this in her coop.



 

All of the blood, sweat, tears, and disappointment that went along with our large garden project is starting to pay dividends. These colorful little ladies poked their heads out of the ground and they couldn't be more welcome!
