Tinker Crate Fun
Ben scoured an amazing deal on Tinker Crate which we gifted to the boys for Christmas. It was just two boxes, but it ended up totaling $8 and we were given a bonus Doodle Crate.
This past week was busy, but the icy weather caused all that activity to come grinding to a halt. Thus the Tinker crate.
This particular crate was all about automatons. The booklet includes a brief history of automatons as well as some extras so that the kids can make little automatons out of the box itself.
Here's the main project:

How cool is that? I really like how it looks, too. It's not all bright and plastic-y. It's as much decoration as it is toy.
Ben said the directions were really well done and everything was sturdy and well-made. It wasn't hard to put together.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the next crate holds!
