Amanda's Bridal Shower

These past few weeks have been really busy! Luke kept us hopping with four rehearsals and two showings of his first play. We haven't received the pictures we purchased, but I'll post about it when they arrive.

My brother, Paul, is getting married next in March so I threw a (small) shower for his fiancee, Amanda.

I'm so, so glad it worked out, but it was stressful!! I found out at the last minute that neither my mom or sister were able to make it. Only one other person had rsvped, another was hoping to be there, but didn't show, and yet another didn't rsvp, but I really thought she'd be there. She wasn't.

So it was just the four of us and two kiddos, but you know what? We had fun! At least I did. We sat at the table and ate and chatted and I really enjoyed myself. I hope the others did, as well. I wish it had been a better turn out, but it was what it was and I think it turned out well.

It was a gorgeous, but windy, day. The sun was shining and everyone looked so cute. We snacked on all kinds of nibbles just had a nice time.

I can't believe that they'll be married in less than a month!!
