December Photo Challenge
Christmas is, without hesitation, my favorite time of year. I love just about everything about it. Having said that, though, I refuse to begin the season until after Thanksgiving. Poor Thanksgiving is so overshadowed. I can't jump into Christmas without giving Thanksgiving it's due.
The day after Thanksgiving, though, all bets are off. I'm like a racehorse at the starting gate, chomping at the bit, pawing the ground. Ready to go.
So Christmas is in full swing around here and I'm trying to enjoy every bit of it. Just soaking it up and breathing it in. Like a pig in a mud hole wallowing around, "Ah, yeah, that's the stuff."
The bestie invited me to do a photo challenge for the entire month of December. I can't think of a better way to help remember all of the little things and what makes our Christmas OUR Christmas.
Day 1: Music
I'm desperately trying to get Luke to learn some Christmas songs, but he's really into Mumford and Sons right now so it's slow going. He's got Jingles Bells down pat so that's a start.
