Faust Park and the Butterfly House

Today we met up with Erica and the kids for a visit to Faust Park. All of the buildings were closed, but we were able to walk around and up on the porches, through the gardens, etc.

Faust is one of the St. Louis parks the kids need to visit in order to earn their STL parks Jr. Ranger badge.
Next, we visited the home of Missouri's second Governor.

I so wish we could have gone inside!
After Erica and the kids left, I decided to go ahead and let the boys ride the old carousel that's in Faust.

It's really old. It was really too babyish for the boys, but they can at least say they've seen it, now!
Since it's right there, we decided to go ahead and pay the admission to the Butterfly House. We'd done something similar when we were at Epcot last year, but since we were there...

It was pricey so I don't know that we'll return any time soon, but it was really pretty! The butterflies were everywhere! So amazing.
