Gabe's 8th Birthday
Gabe is 8!!
He really, really wanted a pirate party. He had grand plans for a treasure hunt with clues and challenges and, of course, treasure at the end. Unfortunately, it's just been too rainy. Our yard is a sloppy, goopy, muddy mess due to all the construction.
The idea of having all those kiddos stuck inside our house wasn't a pleasant idea. We brainstormed ideas and settled on moving the party to Ben's office and playing Minute to Win It games. I was able to find most of the game supplies around the house and Ben made a store run to get the rest. Whew.
Oh, and I should mention; I was really sick. Like, just feeling awful. I drove to the office and decorated...

...and then I crashed at home. First birthday party I've missed. :(
I heard it was a lot of fun and Tim graciously took pictures for me.
Bunnies were held.

He had been so bummed about the change in plans, but ended up having a great time.
I can't believe how fast the years have gone and how much he's changed.
