He Once Was Blind....
Well, we have another "four eye" in the house. There have been times in the past year when we've wondered if Luke was having trouble seeing or if he was just goofing around. Then, all of a sudden, about a month ago, it was obvious. We'd point out things and he couldn't see them unless he stood riiiight in front of it. Ruh-roh. Pooh. I finally took him to the eye Dr. and, sure enough, he needs glasses. All-the-time glasses.
I worried how he'd feel about it, but he was excited; even more so when he found some glasses that looked like the 10th Doctor.
I'd say they're pretty spot on:
Even more so when he puts a bit of gel in his hair.
I was happy (and a bit sad) at how excited he was when he first tried them on and was taking it all in. He kept exclaiming about how he could see everything and read everything. Poor kid. All's well that ends well, I suppose.
(He's had quite the eventful day; lost a tooth in the Costco parking lot AND he's sick and running a fever. Not that you'd ever know it by that cute smile on his face.)
Ah..now he's sitting beside me finding typos and making comments and suggestions. I might regret this whole "helping him see better" thing. :)
