I Tried it and I Liked it: Goat's Milk Ice Cream
Sadly, no pictures. But this was good!
Here's the recipe.
Here's my version:
1/4 cup powdered unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup raw honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup goat milk
2 egg yolks, lightly beaten (pastured)
1/4 coconut cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
No need to cook, just mix in a blender and pour into an ice cream maker. We have this ice cream maker. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth. every. penny. Especially when you are on a diet like GAPS. Keep the bowl in the freezer at all times so it's instantly ready to go. No rock salt or ice needed and ice cream gets to soft-serve consistency within 20 minutes!
